Super Mario Bros. 3 Power-Up Glitch!

This is a difficult to pull off glitch that's possibly been undiscovered--until now. What happens if Mario hits a power-up and an enemy at the same time? 3-9 is the easiest stage to pull this off, but it'll work in other levels as well.

This would probably also work with the super leaf, except a lot harder to pull off, since they, ya' know, keep moving.

How is this a glitch, when you get hit you revert back to normal Mario so he obviously took the flower first and then got hit. If he was hit before he took the flower the flower would have acted as a mushroom and he would be in his Super state, unless he would instantly get hit again. The logic behind it is so simple I feel sorry for people who don't seem to get it.

Mario should be Super Mario, not small Mario, after this sequence of events. Either he shrinks, then grows back, or gains fire, then goes back to Super Mario. One of those two things should've happened, but neither actually did.
