I have a friend that served 4yrs in army front lines in gulf war since he speaks the language he was shot 4 times and his best friend sure in his arms. He was recently diagnosed with cancer and afraid he's gonna leave his family behind cause the hospital sd there's nothing they can do for him he needs a specialist. He won't be seen unless he has health ins or $ he has none. It's not fair its not right

I'm a former US Army tank commander during the first Gulf War. I think Americans are brainwashed into thinking a socialist healthcare system is bad. What is more important than your health, so if we must have one socialist organization why not the healthcare system? Of doctors who have served in both Canadian and American systems, they favor the Canadian system; and Canadians serve ALL of their citizens without the insane HMO bureaucracy at HALF the cost.

@fallen021angel I'm from the UK, was BORN in the UK and currently LIVE in the UK and how you get off saying the NHS is third behind the US' is just something I cannot comprehend. It is no nevermind to me as to whether you know 100 NHS nurses personally, when you say the US (where I've lived and had family go to the Hospital) has better healthcare, I'm wondering how you can claim to be British.
