@TheNewBorn123 Never said it wouldn't be legitimate, just said people shouldn't be too proud of goals or victories, achieved this way. No goalkeeper would pass a ball to a player, where an opponent is next to him. In reality, you can see who you can pass to and who not crystal clear. Only in this game, thanks to the fade in, players can appear out of a sudden in front of you. Implementing this function and yet rendering it unusable this way thx to the abuse is whats unrealistic.
@CoIdHeat Yes the angle of the camera is bad, however saying it doesn't happen to a real goalkeeper is rubbish, otherwise it wouldn't really be coded into the game, because fifa is based on a real game, therefore they cannot make things up, so lurking near the opposition defenders is a legitimate tatic in the game, may not be the most fair tatic, but its there, there is a clear way to avoid it which everyone will learn, which is dont pass short. simple.
@TheNewBorn123 Well i like games which give you every possible freedom... which does not mean that you have to exploit them. It adresses to the maturity of the players. I agree that the example i argue against is something in between fair and unfair. You could argue for both ways. To me it appears unfair since the goalkick view can be deceiving. You players appear closer as they are and while the camera switches, suddenly theres the opponent. That wouldnt happen a real goalkeeper
@CoIdHeat There are both I agree, however in the game and real football, you do what ever you can to get infront of your opponent, so it is all allowed, so therefore you shouldn't be complaining about something is coded into the game
@TheNewBorn123 As my example already explained: There are fair measures to put pressure on the opponent (as the game was meant to be) and unfair ones. Anger your opponent with words until he gets frustrated or willingly foul him all the time as well as exploit the engine to your favor to make use of mistakes. I wonder if everyone lost the spirit of fairplay or why is everyone arguing against it as if you never heard before of fairplay?
@CoIdHeat You are talking about pressuring the opponent until they slip up, its the same thing when you wait for a goal kick, you are pressuring the defensive line, so you argument is mute.
@YaZZaEDITS It makes perfect sense. Fairplay is, when you rely on your personal skills to win a game. Bad play is, when you either lurk for chances of enemy mistakes to score a cheap goal (search for Ein Japanischer Torwart fällt auf ein alten Bauerntrick rein) or even take advantage from the limited view or to put your opponent permanetly under pressure in hope for a mistake you could use to score. Like if you whisper to zidane how his mother is a slut until he headbutts you. ^^
