Using Native Instruments Guitar Rig 4 on the Early Edward preset, I think it recreates a pretty good Van Halen tone. Full Guitar Rig 4 demo coming soon.

i love guitar rig 4. but the jump cabinet is kinda disappointing. but the jump amp with everything maxed out sept for master. and a GR3 plex cab. check out my new vids its my setup.

I believe you can plug direct into the input of your soundcard, or get a cheap Behringer USB interface ($30).
I presume you can get feedback if you turn up the monitors on the PC?

As it says in the vid info it is just the Guitar Rig 4 "Early Edward" preset.
