'About a Girl' Recorded 10/26/89. A radio broadcast of the song for the BBC. Tracy Marander, Kurt's one time girlfriend, would often ask why he had not written a song about her. It was only after his death that she discovered that he had indeed written one. Being a catchy 'pop' song, Kurt was reluctant to put it on the 'Bleach' album alongside the grungier sound of the other tracks. Most of these have been converted from lossless audio .FLAC files.

  • yeah, it's like BBC and Europe in general appreciates and records art better than others (esp. their documentaries, for ex.). they realize the magnitude of art more so than america and act accordingly.

  • bbc versions are a treasure usually

  • Nice

  • Never heard this version, nice to know there's a BBC version. BBC versions are fun.
