The hard part of unloading a car of RR ties is just getting enough ties out so that there is room for the grapple to work.

  • Yes. Yes they are electric wires. All of the trains that run on the East Troy Electric Railroad are trolley cars that run on electricity. The power was not on and locked out while the carload of ties was unloaded. Safety first!

  • Yes they are wooden ties.

  • @smartassstevie i know right every time they throw them in there so tight i've just gotten to the stab and grab lifestyle with mine. I've got extend a boom though and a different style grapple go fingers instead of mittens.

  • i hate it when whoever puts new ties in the gons don't manage a way to leave a gap so we can squeeze the grapples in. ends up tearing new ties up.

  • damn scabs

  • Are those wooden ties?
