The point is, is that you cannot just simply draw the line at City and say what they're doing is really bad but what everyone else doing is good, cos if you're gonna blame people then you gotta go much earlier.. The players went for the chance of trophies and the fact that City are top a at the moment has vindicated them. Like it or not, the only way anyone could break the top 4 is with money. And any fan that wouldn't enjoy a rich arab coming in and shelling out on their club is lying.

The reason everyone is up in arms is because it's Man City and of course no one likes a rich club taking your players. So that's understandable. But to go over the top and say shit like "it's ruined football" is just boring and not true. If football was ruined then it was ruined a LONG time ago by many, many clubs. All I hear is that Man United earnt their fortune and players - What's so much more legitimate about flogging overpriced merchandise to willing Asian kids in the far east?

@ruideng111 The Premier League was built on money. Reap what you sow. You gotta have the same rules for everyone. Let's not forget that the transactions of Liverpool over the summer, Real Madrid with Ronaldo and countless other clubs who spend shitloads all the time. It's also obvious City aren't gonna carry on spending the way they have - It's a business model - anyone who knows anything about business knows that in the first few years you need to spend to put value into your assets.

@TheBashterix Saying FACT after a statement doesnt actually make it FACT. No-one's debating the fact that City are top because of the money but all day every day I hear that the players went for money and that's their only motivation - THAT is total bullshit and a lazy argument - It's because with the money it's obvious that City are going to go places. They pay the wages because they can. Hell, they've got money, why not spend it.
