I live in the the bible belt. And while certainly not gay myself, I've never heard an administer of marriage say " Do you promise to have children?" Since when should two people have to have children in order to be together, love each other etc. The human race are stupid fucks. A couple can have "bastard" children just as easily as "legit" children- marriage does not promise that society will continue, bc procreation is not dependent on marriage. Personally, I will never marry or have children !
