Short video of my Flying Tourbillon Regulateur watch movement using a digital video microscope. Video is taken at about 38x which is as close as I could get keeping the whole escapement in the shot. The circular hole in the face of the watch is 13mm across and the balance wheel is about 7mm across as a point of reference. Completes one 360 degree rotation every 60 seconds.

  • @UltraViolence14 - so you're saying this is an animation?

  • what is it?

  • It's a specialized component in a wristwatch... :)

About two thirds the size of a dime.

  • If I could mention 5 more (alphabetically) they would be: Audemars Piguet, Blancpain, Breguet, Cartier and Piaget.

  • I wonder if I should mention that a lot of the watches I mentioned are also made out of either PLATINUM, GOLD, or WHITE GOLD...etc...

    Superior complication, build quality, finishing.

I also feel like I should mention something about minute repeaters which everyone knows dwarf and dominate any $600-$100,000 watch due to the inherent complication.

We are talking about true watchmakers who choose not to stop at that but to advance every facet of the timepiece into the next dimension.

  • @alpal2002 Jaeger LeCoultre, Greubel Forsey, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Ulysse Nardin are the best watches out there. Some of them go far beyond the 100,000's ... Between $1,000,000 to $11,000,000 for the most complicated. (11 million dollars at auction and I believe that was for a white gold version)

Please add to that the fact that the Chinese are not INVENTING new things such as Gyrotourbillon(s) or even Quadruple Tourbillon, Double Tourbillon, 24 Secondes Incline. Sorry sir.

  • @heliman29 If that was an animation, I'd love to learn how to render something so real. lol

  • @UltraViolence14 you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about do you.. REAL chinese tourbillon movements powered mostly by seagull range between $900 and $2000.. double axis and triple axis hand-carved and engraved swiss tourbillon watches made by inflated well-known swiss and french watch making companies go for the $100k to $600k price range.. anyways, in conclusion, I'd like to reiterate the fact that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

  • why is everybody calling this a replica? if this is a Minorva, or any other type of chinese tourbillon, what exactly are you saying that these chinese tourbillons are replicating? ...are you idiots saying that these chinese watches are replicating the tourbillon movement technology?... "its a fake, its a replica!!" ....yea a fake of what?? retards.. go do your homework then go to bed. its a week night. sleep tight.

  • @RJDamage lol omg omg a typo !!!! A FUCKING TYPO ITS THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!!!!!! lol seriously ? shut the fuck up lol pathetic cunt.

  • @UltraViolence14

im sorry.. but its .. Breguet ... not Bregiet .. So long mister watchmaker hahahah

  • how does the balance wheel rock the pallet fork?

  • @heliman29 Are you an idiot? He said it's fake or chinese, nothing about an animation. Yes, this is real but if it costs only $600 it's definitely a chinese watch, or a fake Jaeger LéCoultre (most likely chinese). And by the way, it should be called a complication instead of a specialized component in a wristwatch. Just sayin'
