@UncleMikeNJ That would have been an excellent match btw! South Africa happens to be my favorite team! Runs are scored when the batsman literally runs from one end of the playing area to the next after he has cleared the ball safely away. Cricket is really a game of strategy between the batsmen and the bowler. That was as short of an explanation that I could manage.

@LachlanRFC I was actually referring to Bermuda. I know Scotland plays cricket.:)
-
@serendipity375 And how do you score runs?
Seriously, I once walked into a New York bar that caters to Australian expats. They had a match on, I think it was England vs. South Africa. I watched 5 minutes and was confused as hell. At least rugby is close to the football I know.

@serendipity375 I will have you know that Scotland do play and we are not the bad a team :P.

@serendipity375 i dont know.... hit the ball, run, win. Sounds complicated. I might need a teapot. haha

Love The West Wing and love cricket, however given the choice to watch a cricket match between Scotland and Bermuda (do they even play cricket ? ) and women's softball, I'd also watch softball. As for cricket being difficult to understand, its simple really, hit the ball and run. Team with the most runs wins! See simple! No need for teapots! :)

So Brilliantly executed.
"Listen, have I gotten any of the names right so far?"
"No sir, but you came damn close on a couple of them."
Will always love how Charlie teases the President without really teasing.
