When I get older i'm going under cover and sneaking some animals out..... A few day ago my family and I went to a Pet store and saw a breeder guinea pig that was 1-eyed and pregnant, deformed, blood spots all-over it, and it had no food or water... did i mention the bird cage under it with over 10 eggs and 3-5 dead birds, also with NO food and water?

Well, if you want your hamster to be 10.99 each, this is the reality you have to face.

So unless you want to pay 109.99 for a hamster that is happy since day one they were born, i don't think there is a point to this.

@Jackyhkable why would they cost more because there healthier people already think these animals are healthy when they buy them most people dont know about this only pet stores do and people buy them thinking there in good condition really there wouldn't be a difference if there treated right petco would get more money by treating them right to by saving more animals you can sell more animals there would be no price change at all if they were healthier because people already thinkthere healthy

Good luck getting the masses to stop shopping at Petco and Petsmart, you just find fish and critters at a animal shelter or a animal humane society.. but at least they don't sell animals at wall-marts anymore so who's to say they cant make a difference.

this breaks my heart </3 and who cares if the rats are "just snake food" theyre still living breathing animals that deserve to be treated just as well as the pets...my god it doesnt kill you to be kind...a**holes
