Remember when Steve Jobs said, "nobody wants a touch-screen notebook?" -- Or what about Apple's insistence that a MacTablet is a loser?

Well HP, and a few thousand CES attendees would disagree!

The TX2 is a cool little laptop that gives multi-touch capabilities to a convertible notebook/tablet.

  • How long can we use it before we have to buy a new laptop?

  • @MakeupAddict55,

This one isn't even available anymore... the new units should be dropping any day.

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • i have the tx2-1025dx version of this laptop. ive had it for about 2 years and i LOVE IT!!!!! though ii did have to put an intel i7 chip because it comes with an amd processor. i also had to upgrade the battery because the one it comes with kind of sucks. i also do recommend buying the stylus with the eraser on the other tip

  • can i put windows 7 on it and still use the hp features?

  • Like what Nintendo Said. "touching is good"

  • NICE! -- I miss the trade winds and the view from Pali pass.

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • @gadgettts yup! local all the way

  • Are you from the Islands 5botball?

  • 5botball,

I totally respect your opinion... I'm not one of the guys who thinks that the iPad will be junk. I think it will sell millions and I will probably get one myself once it hits the 3rd or forth revision.

What most people don't understand is that this is an entirely new computing device. It's designed to complement what you've already got and open up development for a whole new type of computer user.

In any case... this can only be a good thing for us uberGeeks! :)

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • OK will do Father Robert. Mahalo
