    Those are the same words Mara spoke. The Shakyans brought their destruction upon themselves through their own misdeeds. Shakyamuni was wise enough to understand this and did not intervene, knowing that he could not save his clan from the evil effects brought on by its leaders. You should read your history more carefully and come back once you've taken the time to actually study Buddhism.
