@MidwayMountaineers yea they will tow your car if your parked on the guys property thats in the grass near the barn but on the gravel your fine trust me i almost got towed there romm for maybe 7 cars to park by the trail and i asked about parking or u can pay a couple of bucks and park before the road goes to gravel ur parking in the guys road

There's a spot for people to park now, you have to put like 5 bucks or w.e into a box and you're fine to park and walk.

You can park at a house / yard a little further away and walk - on left before you get to barn etc. just make a small donation there for one of the local schools - no risk of towing there.
Boys jumped off....I did the slide....very cool indeed....

ok so I was gonna head up there the other day and like right after we turned onto poga road we talked to some guy and he said they we're towing cars left and right from up there...any truth to this? i wasnt able to go cause he said it'd cost like $75 to get your car back

Im not for sure I live about an hour away and have only been there a couple of times. the last time was about a month ago there was about 40 cars parked all along the road and in front of the barn. one guy even drove half way up the yard at the bottom of the hill and turned, the owner was outside and he looked pissed. as we were coming out someone said they were towing cars, when we got back to the car we saw a cop leaving. So I would say they are calling the cops everytime they see someone

is this what they call poga falls? and also is it on the Elk River in NC?

no, the upper falls is twisted falls and the lower, larger falls is compression falls. They are on the Elk River but just across the state line in Tn, near Elk Mills. Best place I have ever been cliff jumping, Plus a lot of hot college chicks sunbathing!!
