If it was fake, perhaps there would had been over hundreds of people working on to fake the 6 landings plus Apollo 8, 10 and 13 over in a period of almost 4 years. Could so many people hold on to a secret for over 40 years? No.
Someone would have come forth and said that he/she have anticipated on faking the moonlandings. Being perhaps rich and famous.
