The U.S.?Indonesia relationship has received significant attention from leaders of both countries in the past two years. Indonesia plays a critical role as the chair of ASEAN, the convener of the East Asia Summit and member of the G-20. The Comprehensive Partnership established between the two countries in 2010 is intended to strengthen bilateral relations, including address in opportunities to enhance trade and investment.
