The Korean version seems to be under dispute.
- Japanese nationalists often use this incident as an example of "low level" of Korean people, people who kill each other, as if they do not. At least in Korea, Truth finding and reconcilliation are going on. In the case of the mass "suicide" of Okinawan people during the Battle of Okinawa, the Japanese government denies responsibility. The issue of Truth Finding and Reconciliation is very much needed in Japan too.

The Jeju 4.3 Incident Commeration Hall houeses an impressive exhibition in an impressive building.
About 110 pictures were taken, and they were put in a 10 min long video. A bit too fast to read. Resolution is also lost when video was uploaded. But I hope viewers can get flavour of the exhibition. The music is Arirang played by NY Phil in Pyong Yang.
The person standing in front of building is not me, but my brother in law, Eric.
