Hearns was defeated by the dynamic Sugar Ray Leonard and Marvelous Marvin Hagler. However, when he pummeled Duran within 2 rounds in 1984, he proved why he should be mentioned with the greats of the 1980s. His right cross, speed and killer instinct are qualities of a champion.
