There was a game called Limewire or Live wire on the Atari 8 bit machines, that was a very nice Tempest clone, Can't find any info about it though...I think it may have been one of those games from a magazine, but it was a really good game (machine code).
This looks great by the way, but you can't beat the vector graphics of the arcade game..
yeah it can do, its capabilities were not very good utilised in its time, but now it is possible
and it can do this perfectly, too much colors?lol, atari can do 128
listen to some homemade POKEY music and see demos and new games
see the other games lol this is crap in graphics and sound compared to them, maybe you were using a low RAM atari as many titles need up to 320 KB or you used just BASIC programms
Man this looks awesome.
I definitely want a copy when it's done.

or maybe you were using some crappy micro and now you badly remember it to be atari xl
i know many people who remember sharp mz computers as "commodore" or vice versa and these computers even do not have much similarities
or you were using the ancient atari 2600 console or maybe low ram atari 400/800

Great and promising game. Only the music makes me nervous.
