Dragon Age: Brood mother SOLO by Arcane Warrior / Blood Mage. Hard difficulty

This is my Arcane Warrior / Blood Mage soloing the Brood mother on Dragon Age. Sorry there's no music, it's the first video I've made of this length and didn't find some songs to put in it.

This is on the Hard difficulty and I was level 19 at the time, but practically any Arcane Warrior can do this once they hit lvl 16 and get Shimmering Shield.

My gear is:

Head: Executioner's Helm
Chest: Evon the Great's Mail
Hands: Gloves of the Legion
Feet: Magus War Boots
Belt: Andruil's Blessing
Neck: The Spellward
Ring 1: Lifegiver
Ring 2: Key to the City
Weapon: Spellweaver
Shield: Eamon's Shield (I will replace this with the shield from Gaxkang, stay tuned for that video!)

It was a pretty simple fight, only requiring a few potions. Being a blood mage it was ridiculously easy to handle the groups that spawned throughout the fight.

Arcane warrior imo Is the funnest and best class

If you know how to use it CORRECTLY. And never worry about weapon sheathing. I have two weapon sets, Sword and sheild, And my next weapon set is staff. If i wish to cast spells (which i do cast often) I just switch weapon sets. Its like an insta sheath. Along with the % Dmg bonus i get from my staff of fire and frost. But in this video, He hugs his sword way too much in my opinion. I use sword often aswell But you see me popping alot of spells.

@smackedinthejaw It`s in the wiki. They give you a list of spells that can be used with drawn weapons and which ones make you sheath them. Fireball, Cone of Cold, are some of them, Stonefist. Best thing to do is equip your stave, then switch and equip your weapons. It`s a tad annoying at first but bringing up the radial menu before you cast those particular spells is the best way to go, and switch out the weapons.

Not bad, but I should upload the video of my full dex rouge doing this battle. I beat the Broodmother without even being hit. I don't know if her tentacles bugged out or if it's just the build, but it was pretty fucking awesome.

@Jibeker Yeah, not only that but this guy apparently fails to realize that an Arcane Warrior has HUGE damage mitigation.

Are you a noob? first of all you can search in the wikia...

And theres alot of videos showing it.

If your lazy... you can unlock it from the temple in the bresilian forest, go to the secon underground floor and there go the the broken down study and search for a felactery.

I noticed that sometimes an AW will put his sword/shield away to cast a spell and sometimes he doesn't, its annoying when your character puts his weapons away first as you loose vital seconds. Any idea what the parameters are for sheathing weapons/not sheathing prior to casting a spell? Thanks
