  • I'm a Pelham Puppet and so is my little sister. I hope Mr. Pelham would be proud of my show, "The Patsy Hoolahan Show"

  • glad you liked it. Ann

  • This is great fun. I still have all my pelham puppets from childhood, and still make the odd purchase from ebay. I think I only ever did 2 puppet shows, they went down well, but never did any more due to lack of venues (I sound like a spokesman for the sex pistols lol.). This is a great vid and I watched it all- great voices and camera work too .

  • So nice to see pelhams still entertaining.

I had pelham puppets when I was a kid, I used to make my own puppets too.

A friend and I would write our own fun shows and plays, record them on my Dads reel to reel tape deck,

over-dub voices at different speeds and add music tracks.

We made scenery and props then staged them in our garage to all the other kids in our area (Kirkby near Liverpool)

That WAS the mid 60's though!

Do some more and post please.

  • I love pelham puppets and have 24 at home now. I have the "Plays for pelham puppets" book and DVD too which I had for my last birthday!! Love the plays!
