Chapter 4: Part 3 of the Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword 100% Video Walkthrough. This part covers some optional Gratitude Crystal side quests. In particular this section concludes the 'Find Kukiel' side quest and it also covers Parrow and Orielle's side quest with the injured Loftwing.

Note: This is a 100% complete walkthrough and we'll be frequently uploading videos from now through completion of the game, so be sure to check back quite often if you need help with any parts of the game.

Caleb will be putting together a more 'complete' walkthrough eventually in his own format, but that won't be done for quite awhile. This is our attempt at a quick walkthrough to get up for players who just got the game and need help as soon as possible.

If I did the rescue mission before I talk to the demon will I lose the graditud crystals?

Doesn't work like that. All following Gratitude Crystal related quests are only available after the first quest in the lineup: Finding Kukiel and speaking with Batreaux. Also, Orielle (the girl in the 'rescue mission') is an optional part of the Kukiel quest. She doesn't need rescuing until AFTER that.

Hey ZD... when you talk to her with sparkling spores, she will ask you for it, and as a thanks her brother will give you gratitude crystals and the empty bottle. Sources (my own experience)

i was doing the gratitude crystals for the girl with the bird

i had some spores with me already and they do work and when you get back to skyloft and talk to her brother you will still get the 3rd bottle

4:46 It happened to me. I already had spores and when I went to talk to her brother afterwards, he gave me an empty bottle as a reward instead.

I wish they had included an option to use the nunchuck for flying, because I keep dropping off thinking I'm above the island only to fall inb the sky right next to it. Landing is a pain.
