Americans pay $6400 per person per year for health insurance while British pay $2400, and they live longer. The insurance companies want another 40% to cover everyone (Britain already does), making it $8960 compared to $2400.

Republicans insist that Americans should pay the higher amount. How much of your health care money should go to insurance company profit? Insurance companies initially deny 20% of all doctor reccommended procedures, the way Republicans say universal care will.
