The Divine Proportion is a mathematical ratio studied in science but also inexplicably found in nature and throughout the course of human history. It represents a "golden" symmetry sought after in science and art alike, but more importantly, it represents the unity of scientific observation and theory to the natural world and the art that is derived from it.
