  • At which part of the periodic table does he point, when he says "and these have zero long pairs" 2:09 ?

  • @xoxovirtuososue It is "zero lone pairs" meaning no lone pairs of electrons on the atom after drawing the Lewis structure. Regarding the periodic table, here's the information regarding atoms that have a zero formal charge after the Lewis structure is drawn: halogens will have 3 lone pairs, the oxygen family will have 2 lone pairs, the nitrogen family will have 2 lone pairs, and the carbon family will have zero lone pairs.

  • @EnderlePhD nitrogen family will have one lone pair, not two.
