dude that IS a Rambo Knife. I have 2! :) one. My grandpa and I found in the woods when I was so young I can hardly remember and a 2nd I bought at a gunshow for a few bucks for memoies sake.

I owned that exact one. It's cool for what it is. But it's really a piece of shit. Please no hate comments. I'm serious guys. I sharpen knives professionally and collect them. The knife is shit steel and it rattles even after moderate use. The handle itself when you hold it feels like pewter. It's great nostalgia and everyone wanted a Rambo knife back then. This was the only real one on the market back then. The movie one was not released yet. Collectors item ..yes..practical..no.

I use to have the same one. It was junk but at the time I thought it was the best thing ever. When I turned 10 I got my first KaBar and really learned what a Good knife was. But never the less this cheezy little rambo knife will always have a place with me. I wish I still had it. I still have my kabar but nothing beats your first knife being a knife guy. i have the same knife, its a bit worse for wear, but it has survived. if the blade loosens up use a deep socket to tighten it. not the best but as always works in a pinch. at least you have a place for matches, hooks/line. wire saw and a few other things like i have in mine. its one of those you get what you payed for knives... its a convenience vs quality lol less quality more convenience

I owned one of these when I was like 12, the only reason it's referred to as a "Rambo Knife" is because of the compass in the rear and the survival kit in the hollow handle. Past that, it's not even close, it's a cheap ass'd shit "survival knife', the only use of it is to open a bottle of beer or light a fire. Quit acting like retards and being nit-picky about the OP's referring to it as an actual Rambo knife. You guys seriously need a life, or at least a clue what this video is about. Sheesh!

Oh wow, I wanted a Rambo style knife so bad when I was a kid but never got one, now I'm all grown up and have some great bushcraft knives it was funny as hell when I ran across a Rambo knife recently and it was just the worst piece of junk ever!, the handles are horrible and the fact that the blade bolts into it is a terrible idea, I've also heard of people busting the handle (squashing it) just by stepping on it.
