  • Extremely interesting, if not shocking, about the White and Yellow/Orange buggy Amish. Are those sects differentiating themselves in any other ways, besides smoking?

  • The Byler Amish are the smoking Amish for sure. Some sects of amish rollerblade and some use bicycles. The ones that really get me are the sects that believe it's sinful to use rubber tires on their buggies. So their buggies go clanging down the road on metal wheels with no tires. Brilliant!.

If you show good manners and are friendly the Amish will speak to with you. My videos have been picked up by NetFlix now under the "Welcome to Amish America" title. We found that the Amish are just as curious about us as we are about them.

  • I live in Salem, Indiana and I see Amish all the time. The ones by me only drive open buggy's. I would love to go up and talk to them but I don't want to offend. I am absolutely captivated by them! I have heard that some of the younger men won't speak to an un-wed female from the "outside" world. I wonder what other restrictions they might have on speaking to "outsiders"? Thank you for posting all of your wonderful Amish videos!

  • the amish got the rigth Idea thay don/t have to pay for hi price gas

  • you hate everybody dont you yankee

  • I believe that the Amish you spoke of are trying to do the best they can without violating the laws of their order. For some first came the bike and then the wagon. They must do things one step at a time.
