Actually the idiots who watched this video and think George Carlin was talking about global warming being a hoax are amazingly ignorant that I am at a loss for words.
What he was talking about was the arrogance of people thinking they can control nature. His was not saying GW is a hoax, he was saying the planet will survive, and so will life, but human as a society/specie might or might not and it doesn't matter much to him.
Whoever thumbed up the top comments aren't too smart either.

@StoogeWatcher It's like socialism. Equality is great, as long as the people promoting it aren't a part of that system. You want to argue for communism or socialism? Fine. Find me a country where those systems are REALLY working. Basically all those systems do is take all the wealth and give it to the government. So the politicians and the soldiers and athletes that compete in the Olympics are rich, but everyone else is poor. It's never really equality.
