Enrico Caruso(1873-1921)
was an Italian operatic tenor with beautiful and tender voice.

Caruso and Gigli and JB are the best singers ever !!! Caruso is absolutely the best of them,a remarkable voice in the whole range of notes. I live in Holland and listen only to Italian music.Thank you Tom for this.

After earing his voice for nearly 60 years I still it is a miracle not a human soumd,
This recording is nearly 100 years old.. Who has this tone, amplitude, roundness
and heart?

While so many critics favor the early recordings of young Caruso, I personally prefer the more mature voice as recorded after 1911 or 1912. So full, rich and powerful, yet able to give such nuances of phrasing and passion. Here is the great, natural voice with minimal interference by voice teachers. So few singers today, and even fewer voice teachers have even the slightest understanding of the greatness of Caruso. Thank you so much for sharing your treasury with us.
