This is Kristian Cvetkovic playing Liszt - Sonata in B minor (home amateur recording). Kristian was born on 2. November 1991 in Zug, Switzerland and plays the piano since he was 5 (http://www.cvetkovic.com ).

Due to the YouTube duration limit of 10 minutes, the Sonata is (unfortunately) uploaded in 3 parts - it has been however recorded w/o interrupts!

Total playing time: 30:15

  • how can you say this piece is not technical? This is the combination of technique, passion and structure, it's one of the greatest compositions for piano at all times

  • Outstanding, you have become quicker. The technique has improved since your earlier recordings. You are on the right track! I'm off to part two... 5*****

  • Pfff.. just great ! at your age, crazy, like your keyboard attacks..

  • @honron23 Wow did you really? How many hours did you practice each day? And I totally agree with you.

  • Epic win. One of my favorite pieces by one of my favorite composers, and you are nailing it! Epic!

  • Great technique, good musical choices! It's amazing to play this so well at 18.

  • wow!

    richtig geil!

wie alt warst du,als du das gespielt hast & wie lange hast du zu dem zeitpunkt schon Klavier gespielt?

  • @honron23 Yes. I do!

  • great!!!

  • Hey, let's see everyone else play it! Okay, I think he is doing great. I like how he isn't overly emotional in his movement, it's very refreshing.

  • @BachScholar I don't think Kristian is detached emotionally from the Liszt Sonata. I think that at the piano he shows a very calm, relaxed exterior and does not "choreograph" as much as some other pianists. Kristian is a very intellectual pianist and has thought about and decided on a whole range of issues. His playing, though, is very satisfying musically.

At the same time, Cory, I appreciate and do not contradict the point you are making.
