  • @oragiaxilo is that all? i just bought the same bike and when riding with my friends thats all you hear, it is winter though. i hear it should go away with time anyway

  • @Barreldiver Its make noise because your disc brakes are cold, try to hot them and then they will not do any noise

  • @Biltrax2 thank god i bought a cube analog a few weeks ago and sometimes it dose that before i go for a cycle

  • Disc brakes do sound like that when they are cold or new, after riding for a while you will notice that sound wears off.

  • I had the same noise, but mine was because I exploded a can of Dr. Pepper in my garage and it got on the brakes, a quick cleaning took care of mine

  • I have a focus carriboo peak with the same brakes, never again!!! I cleant it but after a while it came back. :(((

  • Sopunds Like the pads and brakes need bedding in i was riding down my strret stopping and skidding just putting the brakes under heat and trying to wear the pads a bit. After that twas fine no squeal until you rode it in the wet.

  • I have the same bike - without the squeal, but before I installed the wheels the first time I cleaned the rotors with solvent. The brakes work very well. How to fix the noise? Clean the rotors, rub the pads on some fine wet and dry paper on a flat surface. Or ride it down a long steep hill. Or replace the pads. Avids are not immune to squeal, no disk brakes are just search YouTube for "loud Avid Elixir Brakes"

  • So many people have the same problem with those shimano brakes. i've got the same bike and am just about to have my brakes replaced with a juicy 3 system. It seems to solve the problem.

  • change your whole brake system. you MUST have had put oil on the disc right?...
