    Eric Idle played women so well because he didn't exaggerate. He seemed to understand that the differences between men and women are subtle, not big and broad; he barely made his speaking voice any higher. As a result he plays women wonderfully and doesn't come off in the least like a cross-dresser or caricature.

    Somehow I always get slightly worried when I see Eric Idle playing a woman, because he's so unbelievably good at it. For God's sake, he's a more convincing woman than I am, and yet I AM a woman!

    And I thought I'd seen every Python sketch a thousand times ... this is hardly earth-shattering stuff, but still funnier than anything Saturday Night Live has done in, oh, 35 years (not counting guest appearances by the Pythons themselves of course). Thanks for upload!
