@Sunnysuzuki I'm not going to answer all your posts, but let me tell you that I really pity you. You understood nothing of the subtle touches of the movie, obviously. Most likely you have never been to Italy, thus you cannot appreciate to what extent the characters are so well described. And I bet London to a brick that, in the event of you being a male, you never ever had a wonderful girl like Ms Mills.

Don t want kids watching this and feeling its okay to sleep around on your spouse or partner. Gross morals to teach and there's NOTHING decent or sentimental about this, except the great music!!!

With no compunctions whatever, she's delighted to have the opportunity to dump her "no-good Bertam" boyfriend (whose picture she carries about by the way) and spreads her legs at the first chance she got! AND you speak to his wife and he lies to her, in front of and about you. As for the hotel mgr, I hope my husband (when I get married) never stays at a place like that. Moral decadence covered up.

Nothing to edify here! Sentimental B.S, my a**. This is a movie about an adulterous husband who yearly leaves his family for a tryst with a never-married middle-aged manicurist tramp who gets an all-expenses paid summer trip for a month. And then the tradition is continued after they die. By his son and her daughter, a gold digging slut who makes a play at him from the very start, knowing what he looked like, his history and knowing full well that he's married with 2 kids.
