I cant wait until zero waste is reached in San Francisco.I also cant beileve that your new diversion rate is 77 percent. San Francisco sure is a very unique city and is always making progress. I also want to get composting in my area. It is a very effective way to reducing green house gass emissions and returning nutrients back to the soil.

@mattymatt you should ask your landlord and if he/she says no you should contact recology waste.

Sounds good to me. My building in the Haight doesn't have composting bins, though -- can I order them, or does the landlord have to do it?
