Vintage Fender Twin Reverb Breaking up! - With Les Paul

This amp is SOLD!

R9 and the old Twin Reverb at practice. I had pulled two tubes out so it was running at 40w with the volume on 7 so amp breaks up! It was VERY loud but gig loudness so its ok

there is no "wrong" way to use vibrato. style is completely subjective. what did you replace the twin with? i loved my twin, but living in an apartment, it was just too much. now i rock a tweed blues junior.

@blastofo I replaced with deluxe reverb..thenI replaced that with vibrolux Reverb!! LOL!! No i just use a 12 watt amp that my mate made.

I get a lot of comments saying my Vibrato is annoying or wrong etc.. I take them all on board. Please somone tell me or show me how to improve on it, I taught myself how to play guitar so I was never shown how to do it, I just play what feels and sounds right to me

@JKryanX it is safe,pull one and three or two and four. i had a switch put in mine where the extention speaker jack was..flip it down and its 50 watss..up its a 100, just because i'm lazy. note tho. pulling tubes out an old amp stretches the contacts,over time this can be a problem. i have issues with the preamp tube..it makes a horrible crackling sound..i wiggle them and it goes a way

i have a silverface twin. is it safe to pull 2 power tubes on these? i have never heard of anyone doing this on these amps before.

In your situation, you´re better off with with headphones!

You don´t need an amp just to show off and waste other people time with these useless videos!
