  • Wow they're going nuts! Still a beautiful sound :) I love it when there's just one and it makes an eerie long howl

  • @Libertarianette Thank you for the comment. The loons can be really loud on that lake. I too love the sound of a lone loon.

  • i love being able to hear the echo when they call...it sounds even more beautful =) you captured it nicely, thank you!

  • @BlinkinFirefly

Thank you. When we go camping at Goose Lake the loons are the best part of the camping trip. I had to drive to the other side of the lake to get this video. I make sure I get up early every morning to watch and listen for them. :)

  • It's so funny, because i live in north Florida, and always know when winter is coming and going, because the loons are the first to show up and the last to leave. And hearing their call while fishing in the winter seems so natural to me, it's funny to think of them as a northern bird(:

  • @Tpathpslm557

It's nice to know that we can share this beautiful bird.

  • @pete5668 LOL, if that's what a loon sounds like, it's music to my ears.

  • I think I hear Ron Paul! :)

  • I love listening to the loons. I look forward to hearing them whenever we go camping. Those and the coyotes at night.

  • That's a little eerie.
