QR Code Scan Test for HBO's Bored to Death.
The ad, which appeared in the Oct 3rd edition ot the LA Times is tested against a slightly larger (1X1 inch) QR Code on a business card.
Upon testing the code in the ad, it did not resolve due to its size being too small. Smartphones without macro-focus, ~96% of the current market, were not be able to read the code promoting Bored to Death. The smallest we recommend is 1X1 inch.
The codes were tested on an HTC Diamond Touch w/ autofocus, but without macro-focus.

That code, as it was printed into the adv page, will never work!
There must always be a white border between the code and the background!
