Hello and welcome to a UPI White House Weekly.
Senator Barack Obama launched an unprecedented TV ad this week to convince voters that he should be commander in chief. The 30-minute prime-time piece aired on several networks and cable channels. It included footage of ordinary Americans telling their stories and live portions of Obama speaking at a rally. It's estimated that the cost of each ad was about $1 million and reflects the huge cash advantage that the Democratic candidate has over McCain.
Former President Clinton joined Obama at a Florida rally for the first time this campaign season. Clinton told the crowd of 35 thousand that our country is hanging in balance and that Obama should be president. The Democratic nominee responded saying nobody makes a case for change that works for the middle class like Bill Clinton. The long-awaited joint appearance drew praise from Clinton supporters.
Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin are calling for Alaska Senator Ted Stevens to resign. Their announcement came one day after the veteran lawmaker was convicted on federal corruption charges this week. Palin said the time had come for him to step aside. McCain said Stevens had broken his trust with people. Stevens insists he is innocent and says he will continue to run for a seventh full term as he fights his conviction in court.
With less than a week until Election Day, both candidates are taking swipes at one another. In Pennsylvania this week, Senator Obama blasted his opponent's health care plan, saying it's radical and unaffordable. On the issue of taxes, McCain said that his opponent is working on a plan with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid to raise taxes, increase spending, and admit defeat in Iraq. The Arizona Senator also said the Obama's tax plan seems to be growing to include more Americans. Nationally, Obama reportedly leads McCain by 8 percentage points, 51 to 43 percent.

Obama claims to be Christian ? Apperantly just words? God has always blessed a man by deed and blessed by measure of those deeds.. Cursings and blessings are determined by God and if a man gets involved in spreading ones blessings to those that may be cursed then PLAY GOD and mock his judgments!
..That would bring a curse on the Nation!
..Absolutes of affirnation!
