I feel sorry that people have this amazing ability to serve god, but ends up following an institution, which instead of helping men to be free... makes them more judgmental and deep inside their hearts they know the interpretations of the bible they are forced to believe and make believe is not the answer... everyone wants to make a difference out there, don t need to be a priest... forget yourself as jesus did, but don't repress yourself for recognition...

Seminary was the most disgustingly violent and corrupt two years of my life. The corruption of priests, bishops, and even the Cardinal in the rush to silence sexual and emotional abuse was absolutely horrific. of the 25 men I was in seminary with, 17 left in under 2 years. The Cardinal did nothing...which fits with his track record of having moved on a pedophile before he darkened my diocese with his presence.

Until men stop signing up this won't stop. Seminary is Hell On Earth.

@69angelsaint I will NEVER set foot in seminary again. Most abusive, sick, demented world of filth I have ever encountered. 17 men out of 15 left my seminary in 2 years. Four of them left suicidal.

Never, ever, ever go back.

@69angelsaint It is only difficult at the start because anyone will undergo of trials you need to fulfill the virtues of love, patience and perserverance have to pray to give you a grace of courage that you may able to fulfill your desire to serve him completely.
