Teaser for an upcoming short film documentary I'm working on about Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. Conceived, photographed, and filmed on the streets of Vancouver, BC by K.R.T. using Canon Powershot S51S and S31S cameras. Written and edited by Josh Laner. Original soundtrack by Brad Laner. Additional music "Sæglópur" by Sigur Rós.

@zamboni5000 every video clip you see about the DTES is EXACTLY what it is all about! there's no overexaggerating or anything! if you go there and walk around, any time of day, there is always a chance some junkie will try to rip you off to get his fix, period. it is a shame but it is also a fact. of course, no one goes there to become an addict! it doesnt work like that!! but minding your own business will not prevent a desparate junkie from doing what he feels he has to in order to feel better

Do you really think that people go there to become addicts or addicts go there because of the ease of finding drugs? Again, thanks for your "warning" but it's not as bad as you say if you are minding your own business.

Thanks for the warning but I've met Ken and have been to the area several times without a 9mm and have lived to tell the tale.
