Atheism is a Religion?

Christmas has come early in this video a I respond to Youtube user MegaSage007 who makes some very interesting claims as to what atheism is. He obviously has no idea what he is talking about so it's time to slap some sense into him.

And where is your evidence for the existance of said being? There are countless of people out there who has given the same story as you but with another god.

And its fine if you want to believe things if it makes you feel good, but the moment you start claiming that people are selfish and dont have a reason to live because they dont believe in god, well, youre simply starting down the dark road of a fanatic.

U can be an evil person and still believe in God.

What im trying to say is, to be a good person you really do need religion.

Now a days people are all into pornography, are having abortions, spreading aids, bullying, etc.

And their is no harm in following Jesus as a role model weather he existed or not. He preached against these evil things but most people do them because they have no fear of God anymore

A real Christian does not do these things and the world is a mess today without God

sure is atheism a religion ! me and my atheist friends go to atheist church every mark-wallberg-day to pray to nothing and not believe in anything , then we have a massive orgy , where we feed on the blood of a born-again christian whilst drawing allah and the islamic prophet ( no names for security reasons ) . oh , theres cookies & coffee too !

@piaybackjunkie17 going to kill his own son in the name of your god. I am sorry but that is a vile story and a sick man if he truley did exsist. The afterlife is nothing but the sad dreams of those who are too afraid to accept that we all will one day die. Meaning and hope dont have to come from a single place it can come from whatever source you choose. Drop the stories and embrace reality. There is not A SINGLE atheist person i know who has not found more joy and beauty and peace this way

@piaybackjunkie17 I tend to think that those who live this life soley for the shot at a better life are the ones with no purpose. If heaven is so fucking awesome then why wait here. To those without your "god" life is as meaningful or meaningless as you make it. I take comfort in the fact that through my children (future) will come my afterlife. My hopes the the lessons i teach and the memories i leave transcende ,my own life. And yet the abrahamic religons want you to idolize a man who was

@piaybackjunkie17 The world you describe and the world that exists are represented by two completely different data sets.

The ratio of Christians to atheists in prison is greater than the ratio outside prison. Less atheists commit crimes by percentage. Fact.

At least two popes and numerous cardinals overlooked hundreds or thousands of cases of child molestation by clergy. Many protestant priests have been found guilty of fraud or worse.

Where are the "real" Christians?
