installing cyanogen 4.2.1 part 1 of 3

how to install cyanogens new update! (obviously...)

ok. first off
you need to know how to flash your rom.
do that boot in recovery. then
MAKE A BACKUP FOR YOUR OWN GOOD
then go to
http://developer.htc.com/adp.html#s3

and download "Android 1.6 Recovery Image"

after that get the cyanogen update from :http://n0rp.chemlab.org/android/update-cm-4.2.1-signed.zip

just wipe/factory reset on the recovery. then choose.zip install the devphone update (aka 1.6 recovery the one you got from the dev site not too long ago:P) reboot the phone. (automatically boots in recovery) then choose.zip and install the 4.2 update from cyanogen reboot and your good to go

i was going to try this root process but have 1.6.  in an attempt it downgrade to 1.5 downgraded to rc29 then tried to install 1.5. renamed it update.zip but recovery screen says no such file or directory. any idea?

Yo! I have RA Dream v 1.5.2 and for some reason I can't put any new Roms on it. the only one that works is a really slow Motorola Cliq rom! Can u help?
