I agree... I don't have problem with modernistic settings. But I found this one modern just for the sake of modernity. Ars gratia ars is not a good aesthetic principle, in my opinion. One of the things that can happen is the tendency to the ridiculous ballet we just saw. But Foly90, it is just my opinion, and thanks very much for posting this video! The music was very good, nevertheless.

foly90,j,ai parlé de la mise mise en scène et décors non des chanteurs que je trouve très bien, M.domingo que je considère comme un grand artiste ,la fin de l,opera est ridicule pas pour les chanteurs ont se croierais dans un stade. merci D'avoir réagis
a ma critique. je ne suis pas un adepte de ces productions modernes.

je n,aime pas cette production moderne l'oeuvre perds tout son sens,la mise en scène est ridicule. les metteurs en scène font ce qui veulent ils dénaturent l"opera au detriment de la musique et du compositeur

je ne dis pas que j'aime ou que je n'aime pas, mais par curiosité intellectuelle, j'apprécie de pouvoir étudié de nombreuses mises en scène, après avoir vu depuis 1954 la mise en scène classique.

With all the production of Samson, Domingo had at his fingertips...what did he need this one for? Staging was ridiculous!!!!

Mozmike, c'est votre opinion mais il est bien de pouvoir voir de nombreuses mises en scène y compris celle-ci.
