  • Why is there such a jump in the frames near the beginning?

This seems like normal video then sudden replacement of CG. What's with the jump?

  • Yea, I looked the video frame by frame when re encoding and it realy miss frames... It's the video given to journalists.

  • ouch

  • I have seen this problem during my many years of flying the DC9/MD80 series. Most pilots visually check the flap/slat setting several times before takeoff. Some airlines teach the technique of pushing the throttles forward before take off to check for a configuration horn, and in this situation, they wouldn't get a warning horn because the airplane already thought it was in the air. Very sad situation.

  • The original problem was that the nose strut was over-serviced and that switched the aircraft systems into "air" mode. The reason for the delay was that the Thrust Rating Indicator was showing an erroneous power setting because the Ram Air Temperature gauge was receiving heat (it only receives heat when in the air). The mechanic put the TRI on maintenance deferral without realizing the airplane was in air mode, and the take off configuration warning (flaps warning) only works in ground mode.

  • @ShihosPride1313 it is cctv footage not great quality

  • This is a real video taken at Barajas airport in Madrid, the reason for the accident was the desconnection of the flaps alarm, this caused a stall on the take off and the final crash on a small river near the ariport. Many casualties.

  • The frames that are cut out seem odd.. .plus the fact that plane is going way to fast on takeoff

  • check the face in the smoke at 5 to 6 seconds

  • @Flow198812 I simply question the vast change in frame-rate.

  • 00:01 no comment give a normal video orginal.

  • @whatevtube CG? you're watching too much TV. ever thought of the possibility that perhaps airport security cameras are not the best? it's not like in movies, where you see in high definition every detail of the explosion. this content was captured by a poor surveillance camera, wonder that one can even recognize ANYthing.

you can make a conspirancy out of everything, just like 911 ("the thing flying into the towers doesn't look like a plane! the videos were all manipulated!")
