  • It was too insanely hot and humid to race in Alabama in July. Maybe a night race, but even that might be too much. Unfortunately, that forces Talladega into the Chase.

  • this was when talladega was in july, i liked it then.

  • Some drivers must have been thankful to get out of the race because of the heat.

  • My son and I were at this race, and this was the hottest I have ever been. There was no reason in the world that this race was run in July. Much better now in October.

  • Gordon is lucky that both Bobby and Terry didn't have a word with him after the race about how the wreck occured.

  • @sportsguruisme WCPO TV in Cincinnati, Ohio 3:27

  • Where was this station from? Because there it says Thunderstorm Watch at the top!

  • when bobby crashes he always ends up the same way

  • Well..if you think about the teams he was on it's understandable.

Rusty Wallace wasn't a good teammate to anyone. Once he got rid of Jeremy he spent a few years trying to get rid of Newman until Rusty himself retired. Even in the booth Rusty takes every shot at Newman he can.

Then at Evernham he came in as the heir apparent defactor leader with elliott retiring and this kid Kahne took the world by storm...so...

He was a decent driver probably could've had a better career tho.

  • Mayfield was actually a pretty good driver but if he just understood that he needed to be a good teammate he would have been all right. He just never fit any organization and always was the second driver. If he just didn't have the me-first attitude he would have stayed at an organization for a while.
