Shared Project: International Dialogue

Educational Establishments: The Heritage School, Limassol, Cyprus and University of Sunderland Fine Art Department, Tyne and Wear, England.

Aims: To promote
1) A link between the two countries and establishments
2) Understanding between the participants, of the similarities within art education, worldwide
3) Personal relationships between students of art
4) Clear communication in visual form

Objectives: Students will produce pieces of artwork on the theme given, send it e-mail to a corresponding student, who will add to it using any method and e-mail it back to its creator. This may be repeated, as the students themselves choose.

Outcomes: Artwork will be created using electronic means or by manually creating it and scanning it. The work can then be received and developed by the receiving student and e-mailed back & exhibited at both participating establishments in 2009
