I go spearfishing from time to time (neat metaphor, eh?), and on occasion I go where there are sharks. When I see one, I do whatever I can to avoid attracting their attention. That means that as soon as I tag a fish, I get out of the water, because I know that a shark, after he makes a few passes to see if it's okay, is going to make a go.
Point is, don't be a target. If you dress like a slut, don't be surprised one day to be facing a man who won't take no for an answer.
