To this day, this remains the most unexpected, shocking scene I've ever witnessed in a movie, and I've seen LOTS of movies. When taken in the context of the entire film, which moves with great suspense but slowly, this unexpected scene left the entire audience gasping, literally. This is a movie I've never forgotten.

I just saw this movie. I screamed when he cut his throat, I was so damn shocked!!

Is there a scene in this movie where someone is in a movie theater? Because it said that there is a poster in the (theater scene) for Almodovar's Bad Education (2004)

the film is pretty tame, a bit tense but nothing too bad, then suddenly- BLOOD HOSE

I've seen "Caché" for the first time today. It's strong. Because it's about the people you're surrounded with and about yourself - and it's one of the few movies, where you're very much involved as a viewer. (As in all Haneke movies I've seen till now.) It's not the question how guilty you are but: Are you able to be guilty. The "main" character is just not able. He's innocent as a zombie.
I know so many people like that.
