This is a lunchtime Hemophilia Awareness Video. An Overview: The Signs, Symptoms, and Treatment of Hemophilia. This Video was produced to teach and train the emergency and nursing staff and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. as well as general hospitals. Their are a series of two videos that were made. This one was the first.

I was diagnosed with hemophilia when I was 2 months old. I'm african-american. I lived most of my life cautiously... and when I got to college, threw that crap out of the window. Live your life, and use factor if you have to. I test for my green belt in August. I'll be a black belt (even with 2 frequently swollen ankles) in 2 years. Just taking care of your body is all it takes.

hm, so you shouldn't report a child who walks in to a hospital with two black eyes to the police because he may have hemophilia? The nurse who reported did the right thing by reporting a possible child abuse case. This video needs major improvement.
