Red Dwarf - French Movie Star

A classic scene from Series 8 episode 1, if this dosnt make you laugh you have no soul or sence of humour.

Red Dwarf is a now worldwide hit comedy that had 8 sucessful serieses throughout the 90's. Made by the BBC it quickly became a cult hit throughout the world and is widely seen as the best Sci-fi Comedy ever.

P.s. Stop bad mouthing series 8, it added a great new twist onto red dwarf ans allowed for the pete episodes and the back on red trilogy, how can you diss them? if you wana diss it just thing, how many other sitcoms had a better last line than "only the good die young" after Rimmer kicks death in the balls?

Am I the only one whole loved all the series? Series 8 was great fun and was just as funny as the others. Shame they left it with a cliffhanger though. As for series 7, I really felt the funny was lacking once Chris was gone for good. The first 3 series 7 episodes were great though.

Personnally I believe that Rimmer is the secret force behind Red dwarf. When Chris Barrie left that chemistry between the four boys was broken, and then in the rimmer experiences it got better again like it used to be then it went back to being crap.

Once the writing team broke up, the series began to falter. It was never as good after that. Still some funny moments in it, of course, but it could have been so much better. :o(

Series 3 to 6 were my favs but series 8 had some brilliant moments as well. Just a bit more spread out.
